19.2.4 says that an important influence is approaching which is really good news, but that it might take a bit of time. Which means, in answer to your question, that as things stand now the possibility of encountering that person is good. (If the influence in question is, in fact, that person you're thinking of.)

The relating hex is 51, which might mean that encounter could be a bit of a shaking up for you.

Something interesting to note is, since I've gone back to a field which I love, there is a good chance I will encounter this person again, and I was feeling trepidacious about it when I consulted the Yi. I thought the Yi might simply be stating the obvious, my 51 feelings, rather than answering my question. However, the Yi has stated the same as you have before about working with this person again.
