32 to 56 gaining clarity

I have 32 to 56 in a relationship reading.

This person has been helpful, a great connection, and I feel passionate about them.
However - he can be demeaning. So that's no good.

I'm leaving the job, which is how I know him.

I asked about the possibilities for just letting all that go and exploring the physical and got the 32 to 56.

I think this means - its been real -- and lets move on.
I really don't want to indulge my fantasies in this anymore.

Can anyone offer clarification? thanks.

The first changing line, line two in thirty two, talks about avoiding excess. You are leaving your job? Is that a little excessive? Why? Clarify your thoughts for a while. What are the dynamics here? You're leaving just so you can be with him? Men rarely file sexual harrassment lawsuits. Something is a little out of kilter here, and I suspect, a little excessive.

She didn't say she is leaving the job BECAUSE of him, she said she is leaving the job.
Your question is unclear though. Are you asking if, since you will no longer be working together, you should date the man now? If that is indeed your question I think the I Ching is mirroring the situation back at'cha:
32. Remorse disappears.
You've controlled your attraction to this man while you were co-workers.
This was a good thing.
32.6 Restlessness as an enduring condition brings misfortune.
Now that your job is no longer restricting you, you're wondering if you should try to scratch that itch.
56. A phenomenon of short duration.
You know you are moving on, so your question is not about the potential for building a relationship but just about fulfilling this fantasy before you go.

The fact that the I Ching has so perfectly described your situation makes me think you are being warned not to assume there will be something more possible than a one night stand. Since you've already described this man as demeaning I think your original interpretation is correct. Just get your paycheck and get on with your life!

Yes it was. But I pretty consistently get 56 in relationships and work - The wanderer.
I'm bothered by it - maybe because I feel I'm always searching - never finding.
I'll probably repost, but does anyone know anything about this? I've done a hexagram search.Thanks

Sorry for completely misunderstanding your question when you first posted it on January 18, Tabitha.

You might be getting hexagram 56 a lot because your general state of mind is that you are "betwixt and between." It may be that no matter where you are, you feel you don't fit in there.

It can also be the hexagram of taking a literal trip, like a vacation. It can be the hexagram of being between jobs, a job hunter, or collecting unemployment insurance. It can also mean someone who is just sort of moving quickly through the issue at hand without any intention of stopping to consider it deeply.

Also, it is the hexagram of the spiritual seeker. Sooner or later an aware person may come to the realization that they have sought, but they have not found. It could be that what we are really looking for is not found here on earth. That is the sort of question that would interest a hexagram 56 spiritual seeker.
