Baffled by 26.1.6

Hey all, I asked yi about the outcome of taking action in a frustrating relationship situation, and received 26.1.6 > 46.

Those two changing lines seem to be in direct opposition to one another, which naturally has me quite confused. Is yi telling me that it's a 50/50 proposition? That it's all in the details? Or am I missing some nuance here (no surprise there)?

Funny, I was looking at those hexagrams about a reading I got.( 18.1> 26 and 18.6>46).

Just a thought
Maybe those lines say that to move forward (46) you should wait the till the time of obstruction (line 1) will pass (line 6) . Don’t rush ?
Something must be tamed before taking any action

Thanks maremaria...I can definitely see that applying. I'm always thrown when I get seemingly contradictory lines like this and often don't think of looking at the situation as something that can unfold and evolve, as you're suggesting.
