Have you ever had a reading end up being completely wrong?

Have you ever done the opposite of what the I Ching said and experienced a better-than-predicted result?

Reading are for one's own guidance, you can accept the story or you can throw it in the bin.

I have done the opposite of the advice given and promptly landed up in a great deal of trouble, so the result was not good at all.

The IC gave advice not to doing something but I did it anyway and it cost me. I have only ignored the advice on a couple of occasions, but I don't anymore.
