Hi all,
I'm got a general idea but still am confused overall what this reading is:
Q: What is the situation between me & ___
A: 17-->5 (1/4)

Hi Zacl,
Before giving an opinion, could I clarify as your answer does not seem to tally up: you got Hex 17 changing lines 1 and 4 - that results in hex 8, not 5 though? Please confirm :)
Best wishes!

Dear Zacl,
Better very late than never! Been away for a week, so no chance to log on to our beloved forum... sorry! :duh: Anyhow, will post what I make of the hex and we'll see -you probably have your answer already, but please do share your feedback - I want to know how on/off track I am on this one!
So here goes: looks like you and ____ are going your separate ways after a period of togetherness (or at least a period where you wanted to get together - the role of the relating hexagram can be interpreted either as the present situation, or thoughts/feelings surrounding it ).
The quotes below are from www.compassionatedragon.com - I like their interpretations, as they are quite clear and to the point.
Line 1
He changes the object of his pursuit. Persistence brings good fortune. Going forth from his door and meeting those outside he attains achievement
Line 4
Allegiance brings success. But persisting in the same course brings misfortune. Taking his own way with sincerity how can he be blamed?
So, pertaining to your question "What is the situation between me & ___"
, it seems that one of you has found somebody else, hence the parties to relationship will be going their separate ways as continuing under the present conditions does not hold many promises.
All the best and do let us know how it all pans out :hug:

Zaci
There is little information here to go on. One thing that jumps out at me in the commentary on line four though, and I need more information to know if this really fits, is "But the people who attach themselves are not honest in their intentions..." Does this make any sense at all? If it does, maybe there is more that can be said.
