Sorry I posted in the wrong room - here goes again.

Well tonight is the Eclipse and Harmonic concordance.

So here is an eclipse tale?

Many months ago I began to get very odd readings which I could not fathom? With prompting from the Yi Jing I set out? to try to fathom them? Folk may remember my rather silly prediction of terrorism one day? well I s?pose there were three Islamic protestors who burned themselves to death that day in London? a dreadful thing.

Eventually after much hunting I came across this Eclipse and the pentangle of planets? as I see others have too.

For many months I tried to fathom the meaning of this? the Yi Jing kept refusing to answer but instead set me many tasks of learning? some of them I screwed up spectacularly many times before I got the message? (chuckles) But what would you expect from a Sagittarius, ascendant Sagittarius who was born in the year of the horse? arrows mis-shot everywhere? quite often I galloped over the horizon only to find that the place I needed to be was where I already was? and then I would gallop back just as determinedly? oh, who would be a Sagittarius!!!

That line in the thread above, about the Sagittarian galaxy being gobbled up by our own galaxy? ? Don?t you believe it ? that is a typical Sagittarian wondering about? It knows it will come to no good? but it will do it anyway!!!

So tonight I asked again about this Eclipse et al?. With a mind to the world as a whole.

Will it mean some great transformation?

Go and look it up? it made me chuckle endlessly? particularly good if read in Karcher 2003 heheheheh? Here?s a taster, ??gathering the energy for great works and ascending the sacred mountain to take your place amongst the ancestors.? I love it!

What readings do others have?

I have lit many candles around my flat and on my small ?not an alter? (a small tree on a low table with a Buddha sitting in the pot and a Jade Bi hanging from a branch on a silver thread) ? I will remember the whole Clarity Community tonight and hope others will join me in whatever this is to bring us and the Earth.

In peace and chuckles?

(Mind you, it is 500x500 and 100kb in size...)

Cheers,

Thanks Kevin!

Isn't the color so nice and suggestive? Really a beautiful night here in south Jersey last night...

Camera is a Canon 10D with a 300mm lens, manual focused, set to ISO800, for an about 8sec exposure.

Cool camera!

Hi again Tashiij

Oh, dear - Second thoughts ? I hope that crack didn?t cause offence? is it someone particular?

Yes, last night was excellent? ?cept I had two eclipses as I had Friday off and it threw my internal date sense? where?s that Doh icon.

Warm wishes

Lovely colours - and the detail and highlights -superb - may I take a copy from your post?

Yes, I have read some excellant reviews of the 10D... they sort of make me go a little green - I am hooked into Nikon (film) you see...

I am astonished you could get that with a 300mm lens... going greener by the second... but as we know it comes down to the user in the end.

Strength to you!

Amateur astronomer that I am I enjoyed last night's full-moon eclipse, and whatever other heavenly bodies I could spy, through my telescope's lens. The up-close views were splendid as they reached the eye! Much like that lovely image that Luis has shared with us above. http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/I_Ching_community/clipart/happy.gif

As the harmonizing flow of energy from every person looking-up at the same time circulated around the planet, I thought of each and everyone of you and blessed you all in turn. Knowing that many, if not all of you, were looking up too made my heart feel warm and glad.

I love Nikon! My first two digital cameras were Nikon (Coolpix 950 and 995). Excellent cameras. As a matter of fact, if you are into photography like me (for the fun of it) you would love the old CP950 for Infrared photography. I tried to emulate the effect with the newer cameras, including the Canon 10D and could not... Here is a sample of what I mean for a great IR rendition out of the CP950. I call it Spring in IR:
http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/I_Ching_community/messages/786/1207.jpg

When I switched to digital SLRs I already had a Canon Elan 7e film camera and a few lenses. The lenses and the good 10D reviews is what made me buy the 10D. Otherwise I would have gone for the Nikon D100 which for what I've read is every bit as good as the Canon 10D and for around the same price. So, if you have Nikon lenses, my suggestion is that by all means go and get the D100.

Just to be fair with the details of the eclipse picture, the original size of the 10D pictures is 3072x2048. Yes, it was a 300mm lens. The moon was smack in the center of that and I cropped an square of about 800x800 around the moon. That cropping has the effect of magnifying the apparent size of the moon and why it looks so big and lovely. I then reduced that cropping to a 500x500 so not to summon the wrath of viewers with lower resolution monitors.

Cheers,

Luis
