34.4>11 and hex 6

Hello,
In regard to reconciling or at least getting to harmony again with my ex, I've been concentrating on my own life and working on getting to internal harmony and growth and have not been in touch with my ex since seeing her last month to talk--which was not possible, my ex didn't want to talk then.

Today, I was thinking about my ex and asked "how can I move toward C again?" and got 34.4>11

I'm not clear if this is saying a breakthrough is coming (in the fence) and then I can take action that will be appropriate--or I need to create a breakthrough myself? I understand hex 34 is about taking action. But the line talks of applying power inwardly, not outwardly.

I also asked about "a way to reconcile with C" (a bit of a different question than "moving toward" C) and got
Hex 6 unchanging
which I took to mean we are in opposition--and it's troubling that it feels so "fixed" --like there is nothing to do/can be done. Is that the essence of 6?

I also asked (last week) "what can I expect (with C) if I let C know how much this means to me to reconcile? and got

Which sounds pretty positive, and for me to remain receptive, not in the lead with this-- but I'm honestly at odds about how and when to do something like that-- because in our last interaction, C was quite angry with me and from my point of view, not in a mood to hear from me nor communicate with me--at least not now. And I felt pretty put off by her response and some of the things she said in anger. So, I've left the ball in her court and refrained from any contact and any intention toward C (also due to a prior reading that had hex 60 in it).

Any help with these recent readings? My head tells me to leave her be, yet I still want to clear up the misunderstandings, heal things between us, and if possible, reconcile at some point--maybe as friends first and then go from there, I'm not sure.
I would love any insights from those here.

I think 34.4 > 11 is confirming that your approach of working on yourself and not forcing any encounter with the ex is the proper way to be.

Line 34.4 suggests that you simply persevere because it further suggests that after a period, of time a break in her defenses will finally appear, but it will not happen over night and that is why you stamina for a long journey.

I also asked about "a way to reconcile with C" Hex 6

First you must think about your situation very carefully, as you are currently at opposite ends of the spectrum, then underlying reasons for your separation need to be relooked at. You need to tread very softly where she is concerned, and try and negotiate a cease fire in hostilities between you, then hopefully you can explain where you are coming from. So, now its all about soft negotiations.

This is good, yes let her know how you feel but do it in a careful and considerate manner, also take her feelings into account when you are composing your letter. If you just ramble on about yourself and what you want then you will just appear selfish, so don't forget it takes two to tango, so think of her before yourself.

Then you can expect a waiting period while it all sinks in.

all very good things to think about, I will ponder and soul search further. I do feel like getting myself centered-- and yes WF, I do believe I need to look at all the things that were causing the miscommunications and misunderstandings--and treading softly and consider C's feelings. Taking a step back has been good for me and for the situation, and thinking of C before myself and taking the higher road certainly seems appropriate here and is the way I've been proceeding since my trip to see her.

For now, I'm continuing with these approaches.

I asked the Yi, "How can I end the standstill with C? Talk with C?" and got
64.1.2.4.5>42.
The Yi seems to say: now is not the time to act, but don't lose sight of the goal and stay tuned to inner truth in the meantime. When the time comes to act, do so in what is correct and success will be there without question.

And "what is the action or steps I need to take re: 64 to end the standstill?"

which talks about deepening my modesty and re examining my attitude, and about expression of modesty.

I asked "Will C come back at some point?" and got

about feeling bad for prior actions and rejoining after, and about holding to correctness for the situation to improve--very gradually it seems, from hex 53.

Other interpretations and thoughts here? I do like the feedback and help figuring out my conversations with the Yi on this forum, it expands my thinking and my attitude and gives me more to work on in myself.

The action is in your behavior and attitude, if you don't make a show, and just act quiet, confidently and calmly when you communicate with her she will notice the difference.

Thanks, WF, I plan to follow that counsel and the modesty hex has come up before in regard to this issue.
Did you agree with my interpretation of 64.1.2.4.5> 42 as well? I've read your posts about multiple changing lines, how they tell a story.
When I checked some of the changing lines re: my trip I took last month, the Yi was spot on for what unfolded in time lol.
