Hi,
I just asked the iching a question, "Should i do an ebay business to make money?", and got hexagrams 35. progress and 45. Gathering as a response. Can someone please tell me in interpreting this and what these hexagrams could mean in relation to my question. Many thanks.

Hi Olly1,
In the future it would be helpful to include the change lines of your reading. Were 35 and 45 in one reading or two separate readings?
First a comment on phrasing a question. "Should I do an eBay business?" assumes that Yi has sorted through the myriad of details involved with perhaps hundreds of eBay transactions, and can report back to you with an answer as to whether it was profitable to you.
Yi is more likely to have you determine your own business plan, which means gathering (45) all the information and resources, including some hands on eBay experience, buying, selling, gaining positive feedback. If you don't have any yet, go get some (35). Then you can begin to measure your progress, and determine if it's right for you.

Hi meng,
Thanks for your reply. I got both the numbers from one reading.

That would mean lines 5 and 6... Oh No!  ..no, just kidding. I did look at these lines originally and included them in my comments
35.5 This may be taken quite literally concerning eBay: take not losses and gain to heart. Undertakings bring good fortune. Everything serves to further.
Question might be, further how? It doesn't say you make lots of money. Further in experience and knowledge, and maybe turning some profit?
35.6 deals with using governing restrictions on oneself in order to progress.
For what it's worth, I've bought and sold on eBay in the last few years, have 100% positive feedback on over a hundred transactions, with another 20 or so unreported. I have some real problems with some new crazy practices with PayPal, so I won't sell there anymore unless I really need to move something.
