How do you see yourself, from an outside and objective perspective, if possible, in what regards to your use of the Yi? Do you think yourself a psychic, tapping, thru the Yi, on some hidden inner powers of clairvoyance? Or that you are just a regular person whom has discovered a useful tool that gives clear and precise answers whose interpretation is limited by our own intellectual capacity?

Luis

PS: I'm leaving out the issue of where (as in space/time continuum) are those "answers" coming from... That's another thread altogether... http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/I_Ching_community/clipart/biggrin.gif

Hi Luis,

I'm wondering if it might be helpful to re-frame this question? I'm thinking that your either/or approach might not generate the most clear answers... Any thoughts?

Interesting questions, Luis.

How do you see yourself, from an outside and objective perspective? I don?t know that I can, but I can imagine being outside looking in. I see a nutty entity.

In what regards to your use of the Yi? A crane calling in the shade.

Do you think yourself a psychic, tapping, thru the Yi, on some hidden inner powers of clairvoyance? Yes, in a sense. I can only hear when my receptors are turned on. But its not magic, just listening.

Or that you are just a regular person who has discovered a useful tool that gives clear and precise answers, whose interpretation is limited by our own intellectual capacity? I don?t know how regular. To me, I?m normal, but when I look around me in the real world, I?m still a nutty entity. I?ve definitely discovered a useful tool! I think it was Hilary who said, ?sometimes I feel like I have an unfair advantage.? Intellectual? That?s like the other side of Spiritual. Certainly the intellect must engage with Yi to make any sense of it. But without the sympathetic wave, expressed as Spiritual, there can be no true impartation.
