It's probably my fantasy which often runs away with me, but when I looked at the ornament on this 'pou' vessel (from 'Ancient China - Art and Archeology' by Jessica Rawson)

I couldn't help but notice a striking resemblance with a famous figure.....

No - Not your head!

There was another Disney character - can't remember it - looked even closer...

Scary... Disney forseen in the bronze age!

BTW - If you have a gatherring in London I would greatly like to be there... Hope your trip goes well

Got it! - Not Disney - a UK newspaper or journal... spitting image of it - always has a woman and a quisical mouse - anyone remember the author? - and I will get a copy to show...
