Laughter

I went to a yoga and meditation day where about 30 of us were told to laugh - it was infectious and someone taking a photo would have wondered what we found so funny. This went on for ages until my sides ached.... It certainly felt good afterwards.

I had a reply to a post on here that had a video of a wombat. In the context of the posting I found it absolutely hilarious and have not stopped laughing at it. The actual video itself is not funny - its just the thought of myself as a wombat that is.

My horsey friend posted the Volkswagen advert about a horse on my page of facebook (the only car advert worth watching, she said). It is about laughing horses and is so funny that it gets me laughing immediately.

I have not got the brain, nor the technology to post it here, but if anyone has, then please do - it is worth watching........

You know since the forum redesign I think Open Space has had less action because it's at the bottom of the page so I miss seeing it. Hilary says I am about the only person to use the view where I see all of the forums by scrolling down so most people don't see Open Space at the bottom of the page. But if so howcome this area is so quiet following the redesign.

Thanks for the thread, Butterfly, much appreciated. Someone just shared this Mick Jagger and David Bowie musicless music video with me and I thought it was pretty hilarious:

p.s. Inserting the video wasn't hard. I just used the "Go Advanced" reply option to start with, clicked on the "film" looking icon, and copied the URL into the box.

So, I'm checking this greatest thread ever everyday hoping for new material. Sadly there are no new videos, so I'm adding this lame one about a real ghost to help keep things going (don't watch it if you get scared easy though):

I am getting a bit bogged down with the situation in Syria and the North Dakota area (pipeline). I have done what I can to help - donated and petitioned, but I have been finding myself feeling a bit helpless. Charity does begin at home - and I need to sort out Christmas, which is altogether advancing too quickly.

I went to a work do last night - and sat with a wonderful group of ladies, some of whom I knew well, others not so. We were not drinking (coke was the strongest fare) but I have not laughed as much in ages - my sides still ache this morning. On the way back we found everything absolutely hilarious - and I realised what a tonic laughing is. I also won a £50 voucher for January, so all 5 of us will be returning....for more laughing therapy.

OMG the production company that used to rent the office next door to ours hosted this, "Laughing Yoga" every evening after work hours. Every day as we were leaving the office, we'd hear all this synchronized laughter and the first few days, we thought it odd they were spending an inordinate amount of time and money producing canned laughter for television in a completely untreated space. But obviously, we found out pretty quickly that they were hosting unusual yoga classes.

It was certainly contagious, I'd start laughing whenever I passed by their door en route to the stairwell.

The Laughing Yoga classes turned out to be so successful that in the end they were making more money from the yoga than the production company, so they shut down their production company and moved to a yoga studio to do that full time.

Well now that the topic is about laughter. My sister recently joined university to study interior designing, she loves Chandeliers, so i will be getting her one as her birthday present tomorrow, and i am sure this is will bring laughter, a feeling so wonderful that it has to be shared :)
