Question on whether a relocation abroad will be good yielded 59 ( line 6 changing) and relating hex 29.

There are some positive indications but some pitfalls are alluded to as well, so it will be a great help if members can share their insight on this.

Will a relocation abroad be good?
59.6 > 29

Wind above Water in the first hexagram ("Cast your bread upon the water" Ecc 11.1) and double Water in the second suggest relocation. I am in the midst of a drought and appreciate the value of water. 59.6 "He dissolves his blood" suggests a loosening of family ties, but family values may ultimately be served by relocation. To gain one thing we sometimes must let go of something else, but if in crossing the great water you act for the greater good, then "you have success in your heart" (29J).

Someone close to you may be experiencing great apprehension, and therefore you are experiencing apprehension, too.

But you will be able to dispel the sense of alarm. You are in a good position to do so, and you will do this successfully.

The text speaks of sending the danger 'far away.' Whether or not this means to re-locate depends on other factors. Do you have the resources to re-locate?

When people are afraid, they naturally think of leaving. Leaving is one remedy.

But often this line does not actually involve going away. Often it involves creating emotional distance; that is, calming down.

Maybe there really is no actual threat; no direct emergency. If a family member is in trouble, perhaps the one with the worst trouble does not live with you, for example.

The person receiving line 6 is said to possess the strength to separate himself from his anxious fears. Whether or not this involves moving from one country to another is another question.

Relocating is always a dodgy game but this indicates that if you are experiencing difficulties where you are then move.

Moving always has a lot of unknown elements attached to it but if you really try then you can make a go of your new place.

You are called upon to help someone, to dissolve or dispel some danger. If that includes getting the heck out of where you're living now, then that is the solution. However, such a drastic move is often not the best move. It all depends on your actual situation.

Sometimes we get a sense of emergency when there really is no emergency. In other words, it can be mostly feelings or a sense of danger instead of objective and present danger.

You might try the less drastic solution first: Taking some action to calm down and help the others to calm down, too.

And if that doesn't work, then think again about re-locating. All this will get clearer as you go along. If you got this line, you are considered strong enough to accomplish whatever you need to do.
