there are a number of things in several areas of my life
that have been troubling me. I have been static as no clear
way forward presented itself. I have been worried about not
making strong decisions but waiting for signs of improvement
and holding fast,

I asked the Yi whats the deal with my relationship/my life
49.5> 55 - please help with your comments.

Hi Hopex, happy summer to you too.

the Yi says very clearly that you already know what to do and are doing it. so it is likely that your holding fast and being static for now is deceptively signifying that change is occuring. I find that often when we have fully done the "inner work", there is an apparent lull in activity, but this can mean that we are awaiting the fullness of the completion. hence, 55. no worries

49 is a hexagram that has a lot to do with burocracy and management.
the fifth line lord of the sign.... is asking for a change!
the change let you get the fullness... the line also show that you are aware about the changes to undertake.

my explanation is very close to the one made by Bamboo (ciao), the only differenze is that the occcured changes are from burocratic nature!
for example if your question has also to do with love... well you have 2 choice

officialization of the relation.
