Hi everybody, I have been following this I ching community for a while, and I got many useful information, thank you!
This is my first post.
I applied for a job position that requires to pass some tests.
I asked how the tests will go, and I got 51>58.
Then, I asked if I will get the job, and I got 23. What do you think?

how does 23 come into it?
51>58, it might sound shocking, but you will enjoy taking the test, plan to go to the pub afterwards.

Sorry, I forgot to say that when I asked if I will get the job, I got the hxagram 23 with no changing lines.

Hi maxleo,
my impression is that while you'll be taking the test you'll already know that the outcome will be negative. Also it feels like your interest in getting that job will dwindle away, probably because of certain conditions or changes in your personal situation.

About hex 23, I got it when asked about the outcome of a project I wanted to do with someone. It turned out that he put such conditions on it that I had to decline my involvement.

Please, let us know how it goes. It really helps to understand better the language of the Yi. Ok?

first update

I did my first test, it was shocking to find many unexpected questions, but I was doing well anyway . Towards the end, the PC turned off by itself, and the supervisor told me that my test got lost. I was sad for a few minutes, than I remebered the 51.2 line:
"Six in the second place means:
Shock comes bringing danger.
A hundred thousand times
You lose your treasures
And must climb the nine hills.
Do not go in pursuit of them.
After seven days you will get them back again."
I was leaving the room when the supervisor told me that I can take the test again in a couple of weeks.

Your update teaches me that I have to be more courageous and have more trust in myself when doing a reading. :blush:

My tests dates were changed 3 times. Finally I took both of them with success.
