and knitting - I asked Yi about this knitting whether my
inspirations are worthy 32.2.4>56

today I invested in vases and asked if they would make
me a profit got response 29.2.5>2

then I asked what I need to be doing (as I am all over the shop)
to which the response was 56>52

none
of it made any sense to me as I feel I have hit a bit of burn
out from running around - 5 things in 5 different places and my
mind shut down. Hence I am hoping knitting and vase buying is
ok

i need to travel (56) but it will be unknown when i get there
so I think 56 line 4 says so but to keep calm 52.:bows:

personally i feel knitting is an excellent idea when the world seems overwhelming....really good. I always fall back on it myself when my back is against the wall

infact there is a book about such activities, they are callled 'flow activities' a kind of meditation, Your hands are engaged in some repetitive act which allows your mind to do its work undisturbed.

We have scorned such activities for some time in our culture but they are making a big come back.

All the hand crafts like knitting and sewing and for men 'work in the shed' lol

physical activities like swimming can also have this effect.

haven't addressed reading...don't think its good for you (or me) to do readings right now....just knit , think , buy vases and look at pretty colours....

I would think you are self healing with knitting and vases....


ETA 32.6 definatley advises you quit fretting about your inspirations and aspirations


god in the past people just knitted and shelled peas and didn't have to worry about all that so much

If while knitting you knit together solutions to your worries, yes. Often the best way to see something clearly is to stop looking at it intently -- like seeing images in 3D pictures -- so knitting can be a good incubation activity while searching for solutions. Curiously, the Judgment of 32 says, "It furthers one to have somewhere to go," and the resulting hexagram is The Traveler. Wilhelm and Bradford have 'The Wanderer', but I don't think hexagram 56 refers to a situation in which one is wandering about aimlessly. I wouldn't depend on selling vases for the long term unless you have an extraordinary attractive product because vases last and you will quickly satisfy local need. Just occurred to me, I have a ginger jar that would be perfect for my ashes when I begin the long journey
