He is my best friend. To me he is family. We had a fight last year and he shut me out. He let me in again this year, but just shut me out again when I got mad and sent him an angry letter. What does it all mean?

Skittalion, i think you'll make it up this time around too, but 54 here i think says that meanwhile he developed other close bonds, which is - while you weren't on friends terms, it's as if he became good friends with some people who before used to be merely acquaintances... It might be that he does not see you as his "best friend" anymore, could be that the "position" is meanwhile taken
