I have been doing the online dating thing with success in finding dates, but not in finding a quality boyfriend who is willing/able to commit, even to being an exclusive boyfriend, let alone one with husband potential. I asked for advice on a wise course of action to obtain the relationship I want.

I got 55, changing line 2, to 34.

Any thoughts are appreciated. In reference to dating, I feel like I seem to be messing up all the time. I try to gather advice from others but then I think I am trying to adhere someone else's ideal date/woman, rather than being myself. I think this says just be honest, but don't push (another tendency I have).

My simple take is, don't worry if it works out as a long term thing, just go with enthusiasm and enjoy the company. If it's meant to last, it will. If not, you may gain a friend.
