I have been getting hexagram 58 very often lately. It confuses me. For example, I asked " What does he thinks of me" and got 5 and 6 line changing. I have read that hexagram 58 means joy, but self-indulgence also. So does the line 5 means he thinks I am overly naive and that's why I get in trouble? And 6 line means that he thinks I am way too easy going? When I asked about how he feels about me I got 22.1.2 going to 18. Does it mean he thinks I am superficial and have to work on that?

Please give me your vision of the situation.

58 - it takes two to tango, but, 38 - two people who are too different to be together.
Between you there is harm of some sort, and there is attraction.
He's thinking you two should separate because there isn't any real commitment there (hidden 54.6).

His feelings do not go very far. They are superficial and nearing their end.

Sorry but that's how it sounds to me.
There's another possibility - is he married or with a long-term partner?
If yes, then the answers above could refer to his wife/partner.

Thank you diamanda! A couple of years ago he broke up with his girlfriend of 8 years. He did not talk much about her, but he told me that she was his soul mate, so I am not sure if he is back together with her now or just always was thinking about her. There was some mystery about her and him, so probably you are right.
