Often I am quite amazed when receiving and interpreting a hexagram. Recently I asked a question and the answer was Hex 43. It wasn't until I read it over a number of times when wallah! it was like a light bulb suddenly coming on or someone just smaked me in the head. ha ha
The one line speaks of "One who the skin has been stripped off the buttocks and the person walks with difficulty." Was I amazed when I realized this was referring to me!!!! I had had 2 hip replacements and the skin had indeed been strippe from my buttocks and I walk with difficulty because of arthritis. Wow

Dear Candida,

I totally understand your amazement at some hexagrams and lines. Five years ago,
I had to cope with a life-threatening health problem and ?believe it or not- before going to the emergency hospital I asked the I Ching if I was about to die. It seems now quite a dramatic question, but at that time it was the first idea that popped into my mind!
Then, the answer came with Hexagram 38 third moving line:

Six in the third place means:

"One sees the wagon dragged back,
The oxen halted,
A man's hair and nose cut off.
Not a good beginning, but a good end."

Well, as you can see, I am still here alive and well! *grin *

All the best,
Mirian
