Am I missing something, or is there a contradiction?

Hi con01, I'm not familiar with Karcher's translation. I think W/B get that commentary about 23.1 from the Judgment...

...The upper trigram stands for the mountain, whose attribute is stillness. This suggests that one should submit to the bad time and remain quiet.
