It does not look like that you were meant to be, it looks more like a relationship that needs some effort and work put into it to make it happen.

Thanks willowfox! There were many obstacles in the relationship and i hope to hear from him.

Also, hexagram 16 was really good.. definitely alot of effort is needed. I think it is saying me or him shouldnt rest on our laurels and leave it to fate because fate does not make things happen without effort. I think maybe to think it is meant to be means neither party really needs to work at it. The notion will result in (and has resulted) in failure. Also, to idealise the relationship and think it would go a certain way without conscious effort would also not work. I like the encouragement of hexagram 16.

I hope he realises that relationships are hard work, as I have come to realise. easy way out is not the way to go.
