Hi to everyone,

Well, I'm doing some things with my music, well would like to that is. I'm an accomplished piano player, and play a variety of other instruments: mandolin, guitar, banjo, mountain dulcimer, I sing etc. Well I've beeen thinking of doing some sound healing, or helping ohters to heal through music like music therapy.
So I asked the I-Ching: What can I do to be successful in healing others through music?
My answer was: hexagram23, falling apart, with line 4, changing to hexagram 35, progress.
So I'd say that even though I'm having to go my separate ways, and let other issues go, then I can make progress by being very popular. I feel like things have fallen apart in my life, thus I want to be blessed with lots of people.
Any thoughts on this combination of the two hexagrams?
Any help would be appreciated, I'm rather new to this, have studied off and on for maybe a few months or so.
All the best,
Celeste

This sounds as if it's telling you that in order to devote yourself to
this new project/professional path, you'd have to abandon any other
projects you've got going completely. 23:4 speaks of a total collapse
and end of something - however the 35 that follows shows great
promise. I've found this hexagram to come about when a very radical
change is just coming, and although it's not pleasant to abandon an
older structure completely (or if it falls apart by itself), a lot of times
in life this seems to be really necessary to make room for something
completely new so that we can 'turn a new leaf', which compensates
for what we lost, and renews us.

Hi
23.4 is to me a forced change that leads to a more positive situation in my eyes
with the gifts you have and if they are shared could only be more positive, it sounds like you are ready to do this.

Hi to everyone,
Thanks for your reply, Steve I really enjoyed your interpretation.
Also, I think that it makes sense, that I'm ready to do this. Even though I'll have to abandon something to try to focus on it, I can certainly committ to my study of working with music. Even though I am blind and have been all my life, I know I have wonderful gifts to share with the world.
All the best,
Celeste
