I wld like to know what's going on here.
I feel like I have finally got myself to a place where I am not yearning for romance specifically but more a close companion to hang out with.
Both wld be good but there are just some days where I wish I had a close companion to share life with.
I have plenty of friends whom I am close to and share secrets etc. with but...
so my question

what do I need to know about my lack of companionship

Looks to me that there will be someone around but they are also worried about something to do with us, together.
