I Ching dream interpretation
Dream interpretation is like opening a door into your own personal growth. The symbols dreams speak in give a voice to soul-deep changes and shifts. And as people are drawn in by the potency of these symbols, dream dictionaries have seen a surge in popularity.
Dream symbols, however, cannot be defined like the words in a dictionary. Interpreting dreams is not just like translating from a foreign language. True, there's something enticing about browsing a dream dictionary - but it's not, all the same, the 'royal road' to a meaningful dream interpretation.
Dreams' meanings are intensely personal and individual, and yet at the same time it is when dreaming that we come closest to the universal. (Perhaps that's why many more people have prophetic or telepathic dreams than achieve this kind of ability in waking life.) That same meeting of individual and universal occurs when you consult the I Ching: it answers your question in unimaginably ancient imagery, yet at the same time it speaks to you personally, its images reflecting and clarifying your situation. In fact, it is particularly useful in dream analysis - complementing and explaining the symbols, and building a bridge between daylight understanding and dream meanings.
