# Search methods

The Resonance Journal is designed to ensure you never lose a reading, so it comes with a range of search options.

- If you can remember a few words from the question of your reading/ title of your entry, use the quick [filter](https://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/docs/filter-entries/).
- To look for similar readings, or when you're thinking, 'Didn't I have this hexagram before?' use [Cast History](https://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/docs/cast-history/).
- For in-depth search on anything and everything else (full text search, trigrams, tags...) use the [Advanced Search](https://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/docs/advanced-search/).

Also, try the [tag information window](https://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/docs/tag-information-window/) for more related entries.
