I'm not sure I understand the question "Why my life boils down to looking for love?

But it sounds to me that you got the answer Hexagram 52 - stillness because you believe that love will keep you still.

Are you someone that tends to move from place to place if not physically, than perhaps mentally, spiritually or emotionally?

Your second question, why should I stop looking?

Hexagram 53 is gradual progress.

Line 6 The wild goose gradually draws near the clouds heights = its feathers can be used for the sacred dance. Good fortune.

Changes to (39) Obstruction which is the background or context of your situation.

To me it sounds like your heart and mind is currently obstructed from realizing that love comes from you.

In other words what I'm trying to say is - stop looking out there for love, because it is up to you to love yourself more than anyone else first and foremost and once you do, then you will be confident enough to dress up (feathers) and 'dance'. Then a similar love dance partner will be drawn to you.

I like so much how the strange first answer that you understood made you think why. The answer I think is that you have transcended the kind of love you think you have been looking for. You are moving on to find other kinds of love that you haven't known before. If you haven't known this other kind of love before it wouldn't be much use to go and look for it because you wouldn't know what you were looking for. No use looking for what worked before, it won't fit you.

I imagine the experience of love grows and changes widening out, spreading, enveloping more, reaching places you never knew it could. The capacity for and experience of love isn't static it develops, grows all the time, gradually here in 53. This line says like the wild geese you have gradually transcended that previous kind of search for what you thought love was and so it is time for you to be still.

I also wonder if there is someone who is making this journey with you in experiencing new kinds of love and you don't need to search because he is already there ? Maybe not just a thought.

Because the things are gradually progressing- or will be so when they are meant to-; then you'll reach the point of leaving all the Obstacles (39) you observe today behind, like the geese near to clouds who see their path from upward, as on a satellite map, where the previous steps they struggled in seem tiny. Think about 53: it's a forest on the top of mountain. You've to climb the rocks to reach its peak (53.6).

I don't intend to give false hopes or write romantic lines that aren't useful in real life; that's indeed my take of the cast+ my experience. I've had a strange love life up to this day which doesn't conform to normal expectations and was confused about it until recently when I reached a wider view of all that happened. It clearly appeared to me like a winding mountain path, sometimes smooth and sometimes tough, with beautiful floods and trees, and of course long rock walls that prevented me from seeing where I exactly came from and went to. Now that I've arrived at a camp on a reasonable height, I can see the wonderful vista: it was my way, the adventures were necessary to build "me", and I won't change this strange, attractive path for a normal one.
