Hi all forumers,

I am currently consider becoming a full time online equity/Stocks traders thus i am asking Iching:
What can i expect from trading online for a career?

I got :

Hex 36.1 leads to Hex 15

Plz kindly advise. TY

Looks to me as if you will have to hide your light or part of your self in that work.
Is the stock traders environment the right environment for you, can you be yourself there?

Hex 36.1 says that you will face far too many problems trying to pursue this occupation, it just won't work out for you so better you give it up and move on to something else, but keep on looking for a job, as you will find another eventually.

doesnt persevering means to hold on ?

Please take what I say here with a grain of salt, because this is a tough one and I am not sure. However, you know more about the situation, and something I say here may possibly resonate with you.

My feeling is that the problem is not so much the career itself as it is the people you will be working with. There may be a problem with gaining the trust of peers, employers, or prospective clients. In this way, then, perseverance might be the required motive. It may be a rocky road but worth it in the long run. It may also be possible that you will wind up in a situation where "morality" is of the essence, and you will need to reaffirm the principles that you abide by.

Just something to take into consideration.

'Persevering' means to keep going despite obstacles and challenges, but I don't like that translation - I don't think 'persevering' is the best translation. I prefer 'carry out what you think is best'. It's like trusting your own judgement to do what you think is best. You know, sometimes you can do what you think is best, but you make a mistake anyway because you didn't have all the information you needed to make the best decision. But when the I Ching says 'it furthers one to be persevering', it's saying that in this case you can trust your own judgement. This doesn't mean that you should trust your own judgement and start trading online. It means that for you, online trading will involve trying to escape from negative forces so that you don't get hurt, and you will also have to work hard at your only advantage in this situation, which is doing what you think is right.

hi ppl,

i ask iching again for guidance. as recently, i make spme losses as full time trader of stocks and now i ask if i should switch away from trading full time.

"what can i expect for my finance and life if i switch to trading eod instead of full time?"

i got Hex 47.2

leads to hex 45

what is Yiching trying to tell me. it seems iching is telling me something than my question.

You will feel much better in yourself and with life as a whole.

Your first answer told you to give up this idea of being a stock broker online because you are out of your depth with this job as you have already proven by losing money. Of course it is your decision but you can certainly expect to make further losses in the near future.
