Two weeks ago I decided to take a second job to make some extra money because I have extra time. After I worked two weeks I got a call yesterday that they didn't need me anymore. I didn't question it too much thinking that they just weren't busy enough and could cover my hours with other employees. But today I got a surprise.
Every morning when I wake up I do a reading for the day. Today I got 11 lines 1 and 6 which changes to 18. Midmorning I got a call from the owner of the business who told me to come in and talk to her. I did and she informed me that someone told her that I was unreliable and travelled a lot and would probably leave without giving notice.
The interesting thing is that sort of happened at my last job here. But it was a very unfair assesment. What really happened was I was hired on as a temporary worker somewhere. I wasn't sure whether I was going to take a trip but when I did find out, I had to go immediately. So I made sure that all of the work I had been assigned was finished, then I went and turned in my keys and said I was leaving town for awhile. Since my job there was indefinite I didn't feel I was doing anything that they weren't also going to do to me as soon as they had no more work for me. It wasn't that I was unreliable and left them high and dry, and I went out of my way working as many hours as it took to complete everything I needed to do that had been assigned to me.
Anyway, 11 line 6 is often about gossip I am told. The wall falls into the moat because they are built too close together. In this case, the people who owned the business I was working for were in contact with someone involved in the business I had worked at in the past.
What I think is interesting is that I was hired back, which is hexagram 18, working on what was ruined.
But here I think it is very interesting that we often get a hexagram line like 11 line 6 which spells out doomsday. But for me it was only a very temporary doomsday, and the more important thing is that, as is seen in hexagram 18 which it changed to, that I must now prove that I am not unreliable like they have been told I am. Too often in the past years I would get a line like 11.6 and think the world was coming to an end. I am learning now that the IC will give you the closest aproximation to your situation but we shouldn't take these answers to any extreme.
