My rental is through a real estate who are so unprofessional I can’t understand how they’re still in business. However I’ve had a bit to do with the owner of my rental property and we get on extremely well and he’s helped me out a few times when the real estate has failed to help. My lease is up next week although it will continue as periodic and I’m wondering if the owner would be open to a new private lease.

What if I ask the owner for a private lease hex 11.1.2.4>62

This looks good until it gets to Line 4.

i think the reading's saying it's a good idea to speak to him, though not to expect too much (62) as he's most likely bound by a contract with the real estate company as well. line 4 can serve as advice not to be too confident, stay open and honest, yet modest in a way, possibly also watch out for the neighbours?

Thanks legume Yes awful neighbours who just happen to be close relatives of the owner.

I didn't bother asking and then I got an email asking me to sign another lease from the real estate who says the landlord asked for a 12 month lease. I'm trying to put off saying yes or no and asking if we can put any decisions off for a month.
What if I try putting it off for a month 11.2>36
It sounds like they'll be okay about it as long as I word it in a respectful and mindful way.
