12.2.5.6 and clearing up miscommunication

I sent a message to a family member with whom I have had little contact since my mother's death. I asked how the person received my message (perceived etc).

The answer was Hex 12 Standstill 2.5.6

It seems to me the IC is saying that the person is beginning to understand something, that the standstill is literally coming to an end. I find the "what if it should fail" line telling, it seems to speak of willingness but insecurity.

Normally I see Hex 12 as either a warning or a negative aspect of stagnation (like a rotting pond) but this seems like a beginning of movement. This combination leads to Hex 40 Deliverence.

Any commentary or personal experiences with Hex 12 being the end of stillness?

Here's a view on the changes going on for you:

12 - They were not ready to receive your message.
12.2 - Don't worry about it or what they think. Take a step back from the situation.
12.5 - Consider yourself first. Find a place of peace.
12.6 - Let go of the past. Everything will be rosy.
40 - End of Suffering.

My feeling still is that my insight into your answer is more related to teh content of what you wrote. Perhaps your uncle has some issues around what was written by you, but has yet to voice them. Remember, you asked about what he perceived not how he acted. Who knows tha secret of the black magic box? ( one for the UK TV advert aficionados)

Maybe the change associated with your question has yet to take place?
