12 uc and 44 > 57???

So I’ve been incredibly anxious all weekend because I consulted the IChing many times about a quarrel (I’m aware this is probably unhealthy) and all the answers I’ve received are quite negative. So I decided to consult it again today but concentrated on the reading more rather than how emotional I am.

What can I do to change this situation and improve our relationship? 12 unchanging
I took this (from an unemotional pov) that perhaps I shouldn’t do anything right now and give the situation time to grow???

then I asked:
What is the current state of our relationship? 44.4 > 57
I was really puzzled with this part of the reading. The only thing I can think is that the other person feel as though they’re not being valued enough. But I could be very much wrong about that interpretation.

Please help me interpret these readings if you can.

Ask yourself re the quarrel do you feel you were in the wrong ? Often with 12 one will keep on trying hard to make it work but actually this is not being valued and then the less value you're given by the other the more you think you should try harder or it's you that's somehow at fault because you just can't please them. But 12 advises whatever you do it can't really work at this point, you aren't being met as what you truly are. This may be temporary, afterall one can often get this cast in long term relationships, it doesn't have to mean it's over, but certainly it's not a great time to improve or get the other to see what you really mean and you'll find they don't really see you.


The current state, well nothing there for you but you may be stuck in a place where you believe that if only you could do this right it would be okay, or you're assuming too much responsibility to something that's actually derailing you. We are perverse creatures and are sadly often drawn to people who treat us like crap. I can't tell if that's the case but with these casts I certainly think it's a possibility you are trying to make yourself fit with someone who isn't fully appreciating you as you. It comes over to me like the other might be giving the idea of 'well if only you'd be more xyz...' and you may have slid into that dynamic of being the one in the wrong. In which case the solution might be to stop trying, give yourself a break and take some time to give yourself some appreciation.
