if i would meet someone i liked soon, 14.1.4 > 18
This looks like it's talking more about someone you already know?
Ok 14.1 does say that there's 'no relationship' at the moment.
14.4 says that there's nobody right there where you are - is there a person you like somewhere far?
Hidden 50.4 says that someone you know, and like, really messed up.
18 is a weird one, for relationships.
It's quite Plutonic/Scorpionic in nature, as in witchery, bewitching, obsession.
Also, 18 does say that we can work on something that has been spoiled.
Whoever spoiled it is definitely suffering and obsessing as well.
So in conclusion... there will be someone in your heart. Not sure it's someone new though. There's definitely a chance with someone you already know.

I don't think the I Ching is telling you "yes you will," or "no you wont." Rather it seems to be giving you advice on being clear on what you're inviting into your life.
14.1 No relationship with what is harmful;
There is no blame in this.
14.4 He makes a difference between himself and his neighbor.
No blame.
There is no blame in being single and it's a lot better than being married to a jerk.
But if you're really just looking for a friend and not a joined-at-the-hip soulmate then there is no harm in that.
18 Work on what has been spoiled has supreme success.
It furthers one to cross the great water.
Before the starting point, three days.
After the starting point, three days.
If you feel your social life hasn't been as you'd like,
working to change that will be very successful.
Get out of your old routine and go where the action is!
Before you do that though, consider very carefully what sort of friends you're looking for.
Afterwards pause and consider if these new people really do add to your life.
