Its hard to say without context and especially the "why-not-to go" but at a first glance it seems it will be a nourishing experience. Maybe there are some other expectations . If yes Yi seems to suggest its time to "relax" and refrain from pushing things but work towards them. Shooting in the dark here , but this is what it occurs to me...

To provide a bit more context, I have recently started a new job and it is both mentally and emotionally draining and I take the responsibility seriously and also do get very tired. The birthday part is a friend of mine and her husband's (they share a birthday) and would require quite a bit of travel to get there and also may be quite boozy; I don't really want to over exert myself early in a new job, which is why i asked the question. I have spoken to my friend and she said there is no pressure from her end to come. There is also a slight alterior motive on my part, as a guy I met at their wedding recently may possibly be going and I was a little intrigued by him, but I don't always go for guys that are good for me, if you catch my drift!
