Hi,

I met a new guy this week. I approached him and told me to contact me if he ever wanted to have a coffee with me. He did today, asking me if I wanted to have diner or something. We talked for maybe an hour about all and nothing. We didn't set a date yet, but we started talking about it at the end. Then, he said he had to go because he was late. He asked me for my phone number and said he would call later. I don't know if he will, but I had a strange feeling about him. So, I asked the I-Ching:

1. Tell me more about him. 27.3 > 22
2. Will he call me? 16.5 > 45

1. It seems not really good, but I'm not sure.
2. I thought it was good, but line 5 gets me confused and makes me think I'm wrong.

Yes, you are right, this is saying don't chase after physical delights for the sake of it, as in time the bubble will burst and you feel bad, possibly because you will realize that you have been used. It looks like you are trying to fill a gap in your life, maybe due to feeling lonely, so you are now grasping at straws to fill your needs.

2. Will he call me? 16.5 > 45

Yes he will.

Hi I see 16.5 as like a type of learning curve, like a cruel to be kind situation or a better picture would be the consistent drive of an elete athlete its hard work but they need that in their lives to tick.

Thats how I see it from my little world

sorry i realised i didnt answer your question, all i can see sorry to say is that you would really like for him to call

Cheers
Steve

I suggest, in a very general way, a change in perspective:

Perhaps not a good idea to try and put questions into the querent's head as she knows what she wants to know.

1 Should I listen to my feelings for him?
2 Should I call him?

Thats a very good idea.

You are right. :bows:
I knew it wasn't really good, but I wasn't reading it the right way.

Thanks for your answer. :)

I have nothing to lose asking, so I might give it a try. :)

I do like the idea lloyd of getting the question completley right the first time, i have gone wrong over the years on that issue, maybe its more of my western way of thinking that way.
I will definately take that into account. I do tend to rush the question because i am so eager for the answer

The trouble is that most of us only know that we asked the wrong question in the first place either due to hindsight or someone telling us.
