17 lines 1 & 2 for Property Deal

I'm looking for a buyer for my house and have one estate agent working on it. I asked the Yi what are the chances of a certain deal coming through and got hex 17 with changing lines 1 and 2 moving to hex 47. Doesn't line 1 contradict line 2? Is the Yi saying that I should look for another agent? And is 47 pointing to my anxiety or something else? I'm not really anxious.

yes suggests to me you consider using another agent. 17.1 go elsewhere, outside your existing perameters, 17.2 maybe use agents with more proven experience...the one you have may be rather naive
Relating 47, seems you hit the bottom of the barrel with the usefulness of the existing agent

You can use more than one anyway...initially

Some agents are so bad you realise you will never sell your house with them. One time I was trying to sell a house and noone even looked at it for months. I changed my agent and immediately had several prospective buyers. I never could understand how come they performed so differently since they do the same job, same market ,same area but thats how it is. I never thought which agent made much difference but it certainly does ! Some seem to be in touch with what people want and what they'll pay and some just aren't.


However you have to tailor it to your question. If your agent already has a buyer for you the lines may refer to something else

Line 1 shows your determination and decision to sell your house. The first line in many cases (not always) shows the actions we take and the beginning of the situation. In this case, this line shows that your decision for selling the house is positive and in connection with the Tao (The infinity Flowing of all things in this Universe).
The second line shows that you need to choose agent who is mature and who knows his job (and that maybe in the moment you're more inclined to agent who is not appropriate for this job).
The 47 Hexagram shows that if you don't find appropriate agent (or some other involved in your selling the house - shown by the second line in 17 hex) you'll eventually experience an exhaustion, even though your determination and strong will would eventually lead to a favorable outcome for your house.
So, the key moment is the second line in Hexagram 17 - much depends on how you'll handle this situation.

I did contact a more experienced agent - the best here and he's looking for a property I can buy, but the bonus is finding a direct buyer who approached me today with my dream price plus I can stay here while I build my new house. That's amazing. All the results of prayer as well as the right intention.
