Hi,

I would like to get some input from those who are willing to interpretate. We have been living abroad for the last 3 1/2 years. This coming Tuesday my wife has a meeting with an important person who is working in the same company she was working before we moved.

how would the Tuesday meeting effect our lives in this country ?

The answer was 18.2.4 > 56

I'd like to see how others interprete this, thanks

The Tuesday meeting brings issues to light - issues you want to solve, issues you can solve. The upshot of this will mean either a new experience for you where you are, or perhaps leaving the place you're in now and going somewhere you haven't been before.

Hex 18.2 Perhaps you think that you made the wrong choice many years ago, if so proceed carefully.

Hex 18.4 You believe that it is now time to rectify old mistakes, what you believe to be mistakes anyway, this would be a real mistake to try and do this.

Hex 56 You are now in a foreign country because of a choice you made many years ago and I believe that you will continue to live in a foreign land, if not the country that you are in now then certainly another country close by. That will be the outcome of Tuesday's meeting.

Hex 56 indicates the end of April, 2006. Maybe next year you will either move or travel to another country close by.

Hmm we both travel a lot, 4-6 times by each every month and I do not see that changing in the near future

Central Europe so not in northern europe nor Norway

That's a predictive sort of question, which leads to the thought that "56" describes where things are heading, or the tendency of present developments. Your lives as foreigners and/or travelers continue.

As for the primary reading, the meeting reveals something that isn't quite right about your situation. There's some kind of problem or complication associated with the connection your wife has with this person that's been in existence for some time (18.4). Perhaps that continues, but other, more readily addressed problems are easily resolved (18.2).

So, I would read this as either: 1)each line represents a separate concern or problem, and some minor concerns are addressed, but more ingrained patterns that are somehow "not right" continue, or 2)both line meanings are combined, in which a long-standing problem (18.4)is resolved easily (18.2).

Hi,

you never mentioned what your interpretation of your answer was?

My wife thinks the way I have interpretated is biased as I may relate things and my interpretation may not be clear picture of what the Yi is saying, hence I will try to keep this thread as clean as possible without creating an intention leading to one way or other. I also believe if one is sincere and candid in working with Yi Jing he/she will be able to see things (relate) in understanding the situation and the question with limited information. Of course I might be wrong.

On the other hand I will post my interpretation when the right time comes, enabling all (including myself and others) to have a chance to see how things evolved.
