18.4.6 to 32 - What to do with my 2019? Desperate for help!

Hi all.

Just love this community and all that it brings to everyone.

I would love some help with the answer to this question

"what should i do with my career in 2019?" and Yi's answer, 18.4.6 to 32

Context: I am doing several things and have lots of options but I am literally paralyzed with indecision.

My options are:

1. I have already put my Chinese Medicine degree on hold for 12 months. Do I continue to do this and keep working at health food store I currently work at?

2. Do I expand my freelance business with the intent of opening a studio?

3. Do I seek full time employment in the design industry for a few years and THEN open the studio?

I was hoping the reading would provide some clearer direction as to which of these options I take. I left the design industry 3 years ago as I was very unwell with anxiety and was fired. I miss it so much and want to return.

Would love any clarity on the answer or better questions to ask!

18.4 means that you're putting up with some sort of corruption. You won't be able to endure that for much longer, 18.6 says you'll leave your current employment. 32 points to another permanent contract, after you leave.

So, to your options:

2. Do I expand my freelance business with the intent of opening a studio? - No, although you might give that a try, or it's in your mind a lot.

3. Do I seek full time employment in the design industry for a few years and THEN open the studio? - Yes seek new full time employment, 32 favours stability.

32 - your situation right now is fairly stable - you could be there a long time....

18.4 - This line says you will regret being passive and complacent.

18.6 - This line says rather than working for someone else's benefit or approval, you should attend to your own higher goals in life.

I don't think the Yi says here exactly which path of personal advancement you should take exactly. Nothing wrong with adjusting your pathway as you move along and periodically reevaluate.

Here's a little conundrum 18:4.6 changes to Hex 41 not Hex 32

You will be blessed by restructuring your world.
How you do this is entirely down to you but you may benefit from looking at what appears as obstacles in the outside world as ways for improving your thoughts, behaviours and reactions.

No my_key, in fact 18.4.6 *does* change to 32.

I've found that the change between your primary and secondary hexagrams can be expressed as a new one. In this case, 35: Progress or Proceeding Forward. Line 4 says "remedy for the father," (repairing something for the sake of the past) and it's described as having poor fortune ("Going forward, he will not succeed"). Line 6 says "Not serving kings and lords; Highly elevates his own pursuit." and "He is concerned with his loftier spirit" (see hexagram 35).Your first option is likely the subject of Line 4 in this case, and the subject of Line 6 is your other two options, but I couldn't say which. If I were you I would divine again to distinguish which of these two is your best option, and simply eliminate the first.

I did infact experience corruption at my old work and needed to leave!

And I found a job! But I think they want to fire me already because of health issues.

I am struggling but we will see!
