Hey guys... I hope it's ok for me to ask your opinion on another question. (I know I've been posting a lot lately so I apologise if it's annoying - and thank you for your helpful answers).

Today I asked the i-ching. "will x introduce me to people who will push forward my career?" In the field I'm in; it's all about connections - and this person is very well connected.

I received 18.6 > 46.

There are so many interpretations of 18; that I'm confused as to whether it's a positive or negative answer. Or is Yi telling me to curb my ambitions and not be such an opportunist?

As always - I really find your interpretations helpful! I love this forum!

Hi MC. You asked a yes and no questions, which are harder to interpret, but I think it still gave you a response... for me it kind of mean there is a higher purpose for you other than meeting these "kings and princess." And maybe he does introduce you or maybe he doesn't but you'll have other better goals by then or other people helping you. Anyhow, good luck!

Yes, I agree with juaneros. Yi is suggesting that you devote your energy more toward your own affairs and less towards working for others.
