as a newbie i would appreciate your help.

i am searching for answers ti two things related to lifestyle choices.
one thing is a style of care for an older relative. he needs my help, will need more and i am hesitant to sacrifice as much energy, resources and also time as they want. one style of care would be to devote my lifestyle more to caring (which i do not really want but would made the relative happier), another would be to try to our'tsource part of the care \)they dont want this but it seems easier for me).

and the second thing is, i am looking to resolve a relationship situation (a love interest is sending mixed signals) and i think this thing is somehow connevted to the first problem ie my lifestyle, bu i dont know how, i just sense it.

re "What do you really want?" - i am very clear about this. i want them to move to assisted living facility. they refuse and think they are quite self sufficient (they were not even before they fell ill)

it will need a lot of adjusting. i can help short term but the problem is, the situation can last for 10 years, they are not gravely ill, just not self sufficient. nobody believes how drainig this is

regarding the second thing, i believe i have "clarity about the destination" - i want to be woth them (but they probably do not)

maybe the connection between these 2 readings is 1) the relative wants me in their vicinity and id rather not, 2) i want to be with them but they dont want to it would seem - i sense a warning not to be overwhelming clingy needy like my relative? could it be so?
