After one of my students groups I asked “What is it that I offer them or that they receive from me”

19.5 > 60

I think on some level it could be a straightforward answer.
“Knowledge is nearing. This is proper to a great leader. The way is opening.” (Karcher)

Maybe simply saying I offer leadership or knowledge. I don’t really know what else to make of the line beyond that I guess. Curious if anyone experience with the line that might be relevant or other thoughts

Like you say, it's knowledge and intelligence.
Tuck Chang elaborates on the line (not word for word):
It's a feminine line at the king's position. Acts like a tender but dignified king approaching a talented and strong courtier (so it sounds like your students value you, and feel valued by you too). The association is characterised by moderation, appropriateness and auspiciousness. The character for knowledge also implies that the speaker knows what they're talking about, your knowledge is obvious and respected.

How about...
The teacher in 19 has knowledge to pass on but she also recognizes that her students might not yet be able to absorb it all, so she creates an environment where everyone feels it's safe to admit not understanding and comfortable asking "dumb" questions. Particularly she does not put the sort of pressure on the kids that might lead them to plagiarizing to conceal their lack of knowledge. Further she recognizes that she herself doesn't know everything yet and is open to being the kind of teacher who learns from her students.

Thank you, @diamant and @rosada these are really helpful. I had a thought too that the "realization nearing right for a great leader" translation could be about students having their own insights relevant to their own leadership or going forward with their own authority. I think you both actually touched on sides of that in terms of them feeling valued or feeling they can ask questions and so forth. I only teach on topics I've been practicing for a very long time so I think it's fair to say I am knowledgeable and it's also true that I learn from my students. Teaching is the best way to learn honestly! Nothing pushes you to close every hole and gap in your knowledge like working with students and seeing things from their fresh perspective or even their confusion ends up being very clarifying.

You offer and they receive a space in which to grow.

19.5 - you act as the facilitator either knowingly or unknowingly.

... or it may mean nothing like this at all.

Good Luck

Consider 18. describing in general the healing that happens when one leaves earthly consciousness and aligns with a higher consciousness. Naturally after having this revelation one wishes to teach it to others, 19, but as Yogi Berra said, "if they don't know you can't tell 'em" and likewise a teacher can only lead her students "Near" to learning but they have to experience it for themselves.
I see the Oracle encourages constancy so maybe establishing a regular classroom ritual or simply repeating key points.

What an appropriate teaching hexagram. The image shows two strong (experienced? knowledgeable? the known?) lines beneath the four yin (learning? open? the unknown?) lines. It looks like giving support. Or even a seed that is growing underneath the soil. (Yang moving upward to the yin.) You may not see the sprout, but by continuing the yang influence (proximity, association), there is development. Also, the lower trigram of lake is pleasing and open, sparkling waters, available reservoir, resource. Containing and sharing. Relating?
Rosada mentions the space of learning, which makes me think: situations where learning can happen. What kind of things are being learned? (Learning how to learn?)
60 is again the lake: but in the sense of framing, bounding, making sure no spills or dispersing. Kind of like structure, framework, crystalization. [This sounds like being able to articulate what you've learned.]
