Hello everyone:) I have asked Yi about destiny. Is it everything planned before by God or something like this? I got 2.6>23 - very interesting answer:)

"Dragons fight in the meadow.
Their blood is black and yellow."

I think that it is like fight between the powers of heaven and the earth, like a rebelion of angels against The God in Bible. What do you think about this one? :)

There is no god in the Yijing. The concept as we have a monotheistic god is absent from ancient Chinese thought. Thus, the question as posed is both inadequate and not germane to the Yi.

It is not that there is no God, it is that the conception of God is too small.

to me, 2.6 seems like one fighting against himself.

what if you are God-self incarnate and preordained the path you tread? what if you were the one who designed the landscape of your life, and what if nothing happens to you, it happens for you.

Rather than fighting with concepts and the idea of a God who has pre-ordained your destiny, what if you could find a way to merge with Life itself and with your capacity to create joy for yourself, unopposed by some force outside of you?

There's an interesting paradox between not being "in control" of anything and fighting with that....and perhaps realizing that it is all a picture show in which you are the player, the director, the screenwriter, the audience and sometimes the actor who is struggling with understanding his role, but who is also free to ad-lib...and even more free to decide to choose a different project.

This does not, paradoxically, mean that you are suddenly in control of what happens.... but as the producer, you can decide to scrap the current production (23) and undertake a new story. Be prepared to face the committeeS who object: the complaints from the audience, the out-raged ego of the director, the digruntled screenwriter who feels attached to the previous story.. all You in different capacites

most of the time, 2.2 is the answer. no in-house fighting, just going with the story and loving the scenes, because you trust that One you love, and with whom you are one, is an intelligence that knows what it is doing:)

If something is prejudged, it has to be prejudged by someone or some being. That kind of thing does not exist in ancient Chinese thought. To interpret against this problem is to distort the Yijing.

I think that the biblical war in heaven, where Michael and his angels fight against the dragon, a dragon of different symbolism than those associated with eastern symbolism, has a strong focus on good vs evil, so the mission was clear. I associate 2.6 with intense confusion, assumptions, unnecessary guilt trips or feelings of inadequacy. Those aren't exactly the things which lead an army to victory. Let the young one drive the cart of corpses and charge the eldest to lead.

What I think of is: Paper Tiger fights Paper Dragon, for 2.6. There's a war alright, but it's not in heaven. It's in our head, which is a sort of a holographic projection, and it can feel very real . So, my guess is that the Yi is saying that the answer can not be explained within such limits. Only the paper dragons fight. It may look like a good or bad idea on paper, but will it win a war in heaven? Sort of out of that mindset's league. So these remain theories, maybe some brain candy, but the truth of it can not be understood, at least not until the restless paper tiger calms down.

i think the answer here is to be more open receptive.... it's like you begun right and ended wrong.

i think that
the right part is this one: Is it everything planned before?
the wrong one this: ..... by God or something like this?

as Bamboo stated, probabbly is your perception of God not good enough.

hex 50 for example talk about innovation but also about the cosmic order

btw... the plum and blossom showed that all can be converted into numbers and once it is you can analize the corresponding hexagrams. the Shaou Youg method teach you how to know what will happen in your life or in a place in a time frame.

This is a neat answer..I see anyways. This is one of those questions of the mysteries of life so many discussions/debates;) Hex 2 reminds me of the our "Great Mother" intuition our innerselves. The earth, devotion..our connections to what we nurture & love. ..especially prominent in this peticular question. Dragons I see in this reading is our outer shell that carries the inner shell of hex 2. We fight with ourselves, we are the ones that beat ourselves up that splits us apart. Being in harmony with the moment in which, we constantly have to return back to, is a daily chore. Because its all to difficult in the beginning, all this battling (Hex 3) not to far away;)
