24 > 2 concerning letting someone go

Hi,

I'm quite new to the i ching, so was hoping you could help me out!!

For a couple of months now i have been charmed by this guy, but we see eachother on quite random occasions (mostly during cocktail time). Because we're students and living the studentlife, a relationship is out of the question. However, he seems stuck in my head, and everytime I really think there's nothing between us anymore, he just pops back into my life and mind. I don't think we have any future, because we're both quite shy and serious dating doesn't seem to fit in our (sorrority/fraternity)lives right now. However we spent the night again last weekend and I started liking him again, but for my own sanity i really think i need to put a stop towards these feeling for him.

So, I asked the I Ching: "Should I let go of X ?"
The hexagram I got was 24. 1 --> 2

Unfortunately I do not know how to interpret this, because the hexagram and the changing line seem quite positive, but does this mean I need to let him go?

Pleas help me to figure this out !

It shows you coming back by virtue of your insight, what you think is right, having not gone far enough to regret anything big.

You should, if your guts tell you to. After all, you know yourself, how far you can go, what you must do, etc. to keep yourself walking the path you have chosen for yourself.
