26.1.4>50 on seeking advice from an old mentor

I asked Yi for insight into my current situation/condition
and got 27.1>23 this reflected the negative loop I have fallen
into. Readings on the archived forum helped with this.

Coming up with no fresh perspective myself I thought of who
might help me clarify my direction. An old mentor came to
mind and she is fortunately free to give me some time today.

I asked Yi will X help me and got 26.1.4>50
line one has confused me - does it mean not seeking her
opinion or just that a restraint and development approach
will be the outcome of our meeting.

I struggle putting amswers into context my immediate thought
was dont go see her as per line one - somehow that would be best.
However - out of courtesy and not having seen her in millenia it
seems rude not to go. She was very caring of me in my younger days,

Perhaps your answer is a preview of what advice your mentor will give you. In general, I think 26-50 is a neat depiction of seeking a mentor's council. However, if it were me, I'd be reducing in advance the emotional urgency to push ahead, and meet your mentor without your armor on (lines 1 and 4). 50 relates to refinement, and it's easier to separate and distinguish the gold nuggets if the water isn't too muddy or the material too hardened and raw to reduce and separate in the fire.
