You know, I recently learned something from Hilary's course that made me review all my previous readings and it's so right. The relating hexagram shows what WE mostly need or fear.
I just read all your readings again with that in mind. I suggest you do that. It's self-explanatory.

Just to add more clarification, note that Huang declares that the relating hexagram refers to future potential. And Karcher says the relating hexagram refers to how one relates with the question and may represent future potential, hidden worries, an advice, a target, a wished result or a past situation that brought one to the present situation.

Thanks Mary and Trojan- great perceptions! I never really understood the significance of the second Hex until you explained it Mary, and your english is just great! Well I aske a couple of more questions and this is what came about:

I asked, " What is the best for me to do now to help promote a reunion?"

26.1.4 to 50

also asked, "Will I hear from him in some way this weekend?"

57 unchanging

also asked a general "what Now?"

44 1.3.6 to 58

Good question and so I did just that right now and got:

conflict and then obstacles fading away...I am still unsure as to my active part, except to accept the conflict (the loss) and wait to see if a better time affords us a chance to remove the blocks between us. Maybe Yi is saying, no not in best interest for me now, but later.

update:

He did return and contact me in April. We started corresponding and he made a trip out here where we reunited. My last reading that I did last night,

gave me unchanging 42 when I asked for short term general "whats coming"

Then this morning I got more specific and asked:

What can i expect for our relationship after he returns to NYC. ( he leaves today) I received:

19.1 to 7

The interesting thin about the Yi is that is really shows that the only constant is change. Based on my throw from Feb. 22, it looked dead...But, obviously not so.. But I really did let it go at that time..

He is in my life as a dear friend and we do some business together..but even though i now live back east 7 blocks from him..he didnt decide to have a relationship with me..he chose another woman..Hes very happy with her..Im still single.
