How to help oscar. I want to help him.
I’ve been posting for years asking questions like where is he and I get help as he can get himself in very dangerous situations. I feel like sometimes that the connection comes from a guardian angel because it will be able to help me get him home. It can be spot on. He has a diagnosis of ADHD but I do consider there are other issues like anxiety in the extreme. He is a very intelligent young man and an extremely good artist among the many of his talents but he goes overboard and then it gets out of hand and also due to the difficulty of getting him diagnosed the general stance was pull yourself together. I’m just beginning to realise it’s that he can’t control it. This was an interesting read as it made me realise maybe accepting him for what he is could help. Not the bad behaviour but the difficulty and the anxiety. He’s a perfectionist who overstretches himself then ends up with a massive project that he has to complete but it overwhelms him and I tend to get a bit agitated myself. He will self medicate with alcohol when the pressure gets to much and then it goes very dark.
