Last night I ate a lot of food, but lost weight this morning, how did this happen? and Yi's answer, 30.1.2 to 50 I asked this question because I fully expected to wake up at an extra 4 or 5 more pounds, but instead lost 5 lbs and I want to know if this is something I can do again by recreating ingredients (actually, I probably can't do this for a while, because it was a lot of food! :D) or if it is a fluke, or a health problem.

I know y'all want me to to try, but I am not getting this. I don't understand this, so I am not sure where clarity comes into play. I am not raising any cattle in my apartment...lol...and I did not eat very much beef last night, but I did eat one small burger. I was a pig, and I could not believe how much I consumed :eek:
I started with half a roast chicken, with mixed veggies, and normally that would have been enough, but I was craving more, so I ate the small burger a couple of hours later, and then while I was watching tv last night, I saw a dominos pizza commerical so I ate a digiorno personal frozen pizza (stuffed with cheese) Then I saw a commercial for ice cream, and I decided to make some, because I can't have store bought Ice cream in the house (because I won't stop until I eat it all :D), so I make it with 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk, 1frozen banana, 4 large frozen strawberries, half a cup of frozen pineapple, 2 dollops of almond butter, 1/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa. It makes 2 large bowls, and I ate both of them...but that was not it, there was just a little bit left of the almond butter, so I cleaned out the jar, and then I ate a bunch of grapes. :eek:
I finally fell asleep, around 2 this morning, and woke up at 7 am, so I did not even sleep as much as I normally do. No, I do not smoke...anything....:bag: Yes I have been to the bathroom more than normal this morning, but 5 lbs?

If the weight is still off you in a few days, take out a patent on your new weight-loss ice cream ... :rofl:

Either your metabolism burned it off or perhaps you have been eating less than you've realized over some time, or you may have been more active lately than you realize. I'd interpret line 2 as a balanced diet overall. Yellow implies moderation and balance.

So you splurged for a meal. No one meal makes our body overweight, especially if it was low in saturated fats and high in fiber.

The moving in many directions first thing in the morning would lead me to guess that the morning you weighed yourself, you were also busy. Again, burning; metabolism is suggested, is what I see. In addition, emptying your cauldron first thing in the morning could have the initial effect of carrying less weight. But it's the long run, the habit or lifestyle we choose that matters. Compromises are part of life. We select them and then hopefully enjoy them. But the grade of fuel we burn over time really does matter.
