30: What is her attitude to being in close relationship with me?

I asked the question "What is her attitude to being in close relationship with me?" four times during last month and I got hexagram 30... four times... Sometimes with changing lines (don't remember which exactly), sometimes unchaning.

She is rather a delicate and a bit jittery person, she had some traumatic experiences with her previous boyfriend who abused the drugs (she never did). I think she is hesitant regarding our relationship and I feel some difficulty with expressing my feeling towards her, but I am sure that she is the one that I loved most deeply and truthfully in my life. We have been together some time before, then we broke up and finally we are trying to get back together after one year of separation.

Hexagram 30 seems to be a bit mysterious for me, I have no clear idea how it could be interpreted in my case...

First of all I am not a person who expresses his feelings easily. The second thing is that I do not want to hurt her in any way... and everytime I am trying to let her know how much attached I am to her she clams up and retracts. I am trying to be as gentle as possible and not offend her, but maybe it is my fault.

Anyway, I am not sure if I could say that she has clarity about our relationship. On the one hand at least I know she wanted to continue, on the other she is so much hesitant that sometimes I think it is already over and done...

So, two weeks ago I asked her if she feels ok with how I am expressing my attidue to her. She has not replied since that time, I have tried to call her but she has not answered.

Today I have asked the same question fith time and I have got... 30... this is madness...

Hex 30 usually means dependence, relationship, portraying a person cling on somebody emotionally.
Usually good in love reading.

However the chinese name for this hexagram is 離, also means "Separation", "Departure". Based on the situation that she's avoiding you, I think she isn't ready for such a relationship. You can only be friend with her for now.

I find Carol K Anthony's A Guide to the I Ching worth looking at when the question is about relationships - seems to be one of her main themes. For Hex 30 she talks about clinging to the truth of the situation, detachment and acceptance, giving others space, being docile & accepting/carrying burdens like a cow - 'To become docile we let go of all resistance to, and rejection of, what is happening. We accept every twist and turn of events as something useful and essential to the creative process...'

Ginnie, you are right - at first I used to think she was rather a feisty person but now I realize that this is only a facade...
