Hi everyone!

As i was puzzeled by someone's behavior i asked the Yi " what should i know about the intentions of him towards me in his skype behavior ?"

The answer was 31 Unchanging Influence/wooing/ attraction /courting /stimulation.

It would be such good news that i'm affraid that there are many downsides in this hexagram that i'm not aware of...

The fact that is Unchanging reinforce the meaning? ou weakens it ?

Was the question appropriate?

For me, for 31 unchanging talks about influence, letting things be, spontaneity, nothing intentional really but natural courting. He might like you and expresses it spontaneusly.

i've always thought about 31 as a more active hexagram...

I would love to know if there are someone else who agrees or disagrees with my view, because i'm affraid of the interferance of wishfull thinking here ... albeit is not so far fetched a positive answer in the situation of the question i asked the Yi... as far as i can gather objectivity to judge.

Think of it as a sign he is aware of you, wants to become more familiar with you, but does not reveal how he feels about you, probably still unsure himself.

I'd say it reinforces and limits it. That is, he's interested, attracted, moved, opening the door... and that's all you can say about it. You can't say whether he has any intentions that extend beyond this initial connection, or whether he would like this to last or develop at all. Maybe he hasn't got as far as forming any intentions in his own mind.
