33 and 36

All of a sudden I find myself unsure about the differences between 33 and 36. Am I correct that 33 is more about yielding and 36 is more about hiding? Do they not both discuss preparing for a better time? 33 is about pulling back to prepare for the future approach, and 36 is about shinning while hiding, until it's time to reveal again? What do you think? Thanks. S

Hex 33 suggests the need to retreat in order to conserve your energy for a more fortunate time, as "whatever" is too powerful for you to overcome at present. Therefore, the need to run home, lick your wounds, plan carefully for the next "attack". So, its about getting out of the way as a tank comes at you, you then run off and make some petrol bombs, then you slide back and set the tank on fire.

Hex 36 is about being in a snake pit, you keep quiet, move cautiously, so that the snakes don't see you, in the knowledge that they will all go out to feed in due course then you can boldly get up and walk off. So, here you are being brave. So, you don't show your hand until you are sure of winning.
