The I Ching says you should be aware that perseverance brings good fortune. If you go on quietly and perseveringly at the removal of resistance, success will come to you in the end.
However, you must also be aware that if you were to venture too far you'll come to a deadlock, unable to advance or to retreat in which case whatever you do will only complicate things further. If you see yourself acting in that way, compose yourself and don't continue then everything will right itself in time.
It would be good to strengthen your character by acquainting yourself with many sayings of antiquity and many deeds of the past.

Line 4:

Again, use your power quietly and in good measure.

Although I had no particular question in mind, I am trying to make important change in my professional and personal life, so both interpretations fit my situation perfectly.
Have I misused my powerin the past? I believe I have, otherwise my current situation would not be as uncomfortable as it is today. Your answers help a lot because I will take it as a personal disaster if I stay stuck in the job and in the town where I currently live. I have put a lot of energy in my jobsearch recently, but to no avail and sometimes I tend to get frantic with that jobsearch.
